Welfare fraud?

I have a friend that has a boyfriend but does not live with her adjectives of the time. She does get foodstamps and hud. Should she have to report that he is even staying there sometimes. He does enjoy his own place to live with bills in his name to prove it.I meditate he did claim her kids on his taxes also. will this affect her at all legally and if so how. Serious answers only Thanks.

If he's not contributing financially to her household, it doesn't come across like fraud. People are allowed to have social lives (and even sex lives!) even when they're collecting government assistance.

Unless you know for a certainty that he's paying some of her bills for her or paying part of her rent, and that she's not reporting his assistance, I'd just leave her alone and agree to her live her own life.

If he stays with her more than two weeks out of a yr. then it is fraud. Give me her designation I'm tired of paying taxes for people who abuse the system. He has proof of his own place to live, it would be difficult proving he lived next to her then. His claiming the kids on his taxes is a no, no if he's not the father. But only he will get into trouble for that.
