What are the chances of getting out of paying a parking ticket?
I got a $90 parking ticket today. I parked in a parking area where on earth you need a permit. Apparently there be signs (that I didn't notice) at every 3-4 parking spots. Obviously the one that I parked in didn't have a sign so I parked there and get a ticket. Can I take a picture of the spot and show that there was no sign? What are the probability of them waiving the ticket?

Not their show disapproval. I got one like that too, no permit, it be only $25 though. Just pay it.
Tough luck. Pay the ticket. You weren't paying attention.

They won't waive the ticket. Just pay it.
Depends on what your state's laws are for how far apart the signs can be. But I'm feeling like to bet that the city looked up the law and complied with it.
If I were surrounded by your shoes I would do exactly what you said, take a picture of the spot. What have you got to lose? I have a ticket for expired plates reduced because I told the guy with a straight face that I had forgotten that my birthday have come and gone. Good luck.
