Ordinances(Laws)? Why'd Paul say 'touch not, taste not, handle not' such 'dung'?

Colossians 2: 20-22
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

Perhaps because all perish with the 'u'sing: Col 2.
'Touch not' the 'unclean thing'(law): 2Cor 6:17?
read it in context. start at verse 20. 'you have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the evil powers of this world. So why do you keep on following rules of the world, such as, 'don't handle, dont eat, dont touch.'
Paul is saying, since you've been saved through Christ, why do you still follow the Jewish laws of cleanliness such as dont eat this, dont touch this. Paul is saying you dont have to follow those laws anymore because Christ died so we are saved through Him, not by following laws.

2 Corinthians 6:17 is a passage from the Old Testament (Isaiah 52:11 and Ezekial 20:34) and He is using it to describe how our bodies are temples of the Lord so we cannot have idols in our hearts. Read verse 16 and then 17. Verse 17 says seperate yourselves from idols, dont touch their unclean things and I will welcome you (I'm paraphrasing). Again, read it in context
Paul was handling himself. after all Paul of taursus IS dung!

Answers:
Paul is referring of the teachings of man. Verse 23 states that these teachings have the appearance of wisdom, but are false since God never said to do or not do them! I hope this helps you. God bless.
