I love this question..because as a child..I hated our 'dog catcher'. Living in the city..I wasn't allowed to actually own a dog..so the strays were 'my dogs'. I was heartbroken..when I saw them picked up..by Mr. Mathews.

Once I heard..and beleived he'd shot a dog that was tied to someone's house.
..I saw him..picking up one of 'my dogs'. when I was about 10 years old.

I grabbed it and ran..and dared him to shoot it!

I will never forget how helpless I felt against this man.
