Is protesting legal? Or illegal?

Hey, Well i am very worried because my dad is a window washer, he does the mop and squegee method, but my fellow canadians know that we are having a sea restriction, especially in the lower mainland (in BC) I am 13 but my dad had two weeks of work booked, and then at hand was an anouncement on BC Tv News saying that there be a ban on washing windows and consequently all his customers cancelled and we live in a basement close to being homeless :/. My dad said if the mayor of abbotsford says he wont speak with him next he will take his tent and camp outside city hall until things work out, i made him promise to not bring back violent or swear and he promised saying he would never do that anyway. But i am very worried for my dads sanctuary, and I dont want him to get arrested so please help.... :(

Peacefull protest is not illegal. In certainty it is encouraged. Make sure he does it on public property and not on anyone's private property and he should be fine. I feel really bad for your own flesh and blood and i'm sorry you have to go through this. but your father is doing the right thing. Just save praying and homepfully it will get better.
