Yes. I am a nurse aide and I had a assault and battery back a long time ago..more consequently 25 years ..I was not aware of this ..and the employer was a volunteer out fit.but they still let me work for free but I have this charge expunged from my record. I had to get a attorney and appear before a judge and the Prosecuting Attorney If this is all on your Record the court may expunge this *offense* Check near a lawyer and find out about statue of limitations in your state..respectively state is different.
