How can you help someone that has been wrongfully convicted of murder and has served thirteen years for it?

Thirteen years ago a friend of our's son had been wrongfully accused and convicted of murder. Their was no body, no evidence that the crime even occured, The athourities found a pawn ticket that proved at the time the crime was to have suposed to occur the person was alive, but it was never produced as evidence. Everytime his porole comes up it is denied and no one wants to take the time to look over the case. What can I do and is there anything we can do to help his son get out? I do not normally help people in this situation, but in this case I think help has been way overdue.
I would speak with several attorneys, write letters anything, until you find someone willing to help. You mostly see cases like this on shows like 20/20 and you might not want to but maybe you should contact them..its nothing like the media getting involved, that will make them look a little harder into the case..good luck..seriously..by the way that innocent project website maria gave you should be of help.
tell him to read about joshua in the bible

Based on the facts you've stated, I am positive you're not stating all the evidence against this individual. In most cases where someone is wrongfully convicted, there is ample evidence at the time of the trial. The conviction becomes wrongful when it appears that the evidence was somehow not good--eyewitness testimony turns out to be bad, DNA test was not done correctly, etc.

'no body, no evidence that crime even occured.. ' In any case, you can contact the Innocence project, but usually they assist in cases where a DNA test can set a confully convicted person free. They don't engage in litigating other evidence.
