If I have to take a drug test for a job, why dont welfare people have to take one for their check?
that I am paying for?
They should. Only problem with that, the kids go hungry. cry moar and lay off the dope...
Most people who get welfare only bring back it for a very short period of time and most of those who are druggies or alcoholics can't keep up next to the constant demands of looking for work, filing the necessary paperwork for approval and monthly recertifications.
Welfare isn't the easy road everyone think it is.
Go find a job that doesn't require drug tests.
I run my own construction company, the construction business is loaded lying, cheating, lazy drunks and drug addict who think they are entitled to a job for showing up half the time and wasting my money when they do show up.
You might find yourself surrounded by good company with them.
because there would be no one on welfare they would all backfire.
Great question..think of all the money we would liberate.
Edit - well really Grump56, should kids be left with drug addict and drunks??
Good Question. Maybe the lack of care for the lower class from the governing body. I think it should be done.
My 2 cents.
Yet another thing you can thank our wonderful government for..... Because they wont be living off of ssi and lawsuits for getting hurt on the duty while high.
I agree completely! Welfare in itself requirements to be removed. TANF (Temporary assistance for needy families) and food stamps are good programs, but many harm them.
I think we need extensive welfare reform within this country and use socialized programs responsibly. I am a liberal and I believe that the FSSA and the Unemployment Office should be the same entity. Everyone on welfare, food stamps, etc. should be automatically registered for a job and employers should be required by ruling to register with the unemployment office.
Remember this when I run for President within 20 years!
Too many people on welfare. The cost of carrying out tests them all would be greater then the check. good cross-examine
Are you also will to pay for the extra cost that drug tests will entail.
And contrary to popular belief most relatives collecting Public Assistance are not on drugs.
