How much jail time will Conrad Black do?
He will be sentenced in November.
There's talk of him doing up to 35 years.
Somehow I think it will be much less, like maybe four or five years. If his sentences are concurrent, and he gets the least amount of time time, then he would probably be out in as little as one third of the time he's given.
What do you think?
I think the crook should die in prison. What a loser.
whos conrad
Answer:
throw the loser in jail for the full term.
This is a political leverage done on the guy, to make him do something he doesn`t want to do! So unless he is doing it, he should get around 3 to 5 years, in a special place, where he can check in everyday (no real prison there), or would get 3 to 5 years firmed... But because his trial has last so long, he will probably end up doing a year or even less... This all gimmick there, no real justice for those hyper rich peoples! When it comes down to court, its because their ennemies are willing to force him do something against his own principles (if those have such principles)...
15-20 if the appeal fails.
I would bet that he won't do any prison time.
Remember he faced 13 charges and was acquitted of 9.
He's appealing the verdict on the other 4.
Prosecutors accused him of swindling shareholders of his newspaper company out of US$84 million . he was convicted of stealing about US$3 million.
After the appeal avenue is exhausted and if they are unsuccessful at that, I'm guessing that he faces an order of restitution and 1 year suspended. Eddie Greenspan is a maestro at negotiating a sentence.
