Why are law and ethics banded together on Yahoo?
Surely they are two mutually exclusive terms?
I in general think of it that way. Although I do know one ethical lawyer.
I don't care for the tone of your question! Lawyers are governed by terribly strict ethical codes and so the two naturally go hand within hand. There is nothing banded together on Yahoo. It's Yahoo's way or you don't play.
Have had the same thought a few times already.Good for you for asking the give somebody the third degree.Law and ethics are not neccessarily mutually exclusive but they are not the same.Law is a prescriptive rule which must be observed and followed.Ethics is somewhat different in that it allows for an overriding perspective which allows an answer base on what is "right".
