What happens if the legal document you signed spelled your name wrong?
Well a friend of mine signed a legal document without reading the whole module of it, then after that he noticed that his name be spelled wrong. Will this legal document become null and void?
Best Answer:
Assuming that this "legal document" is surrounded by fact a contract, the contract is valid if the parties reached an agreement, even in need the signature. If it is one of the few types of contracts that must be in writing, anything intended as a signature will be a signature. Spelling won't change that.
No, minor typographical errors will not void a contract. Misspelled name are minor typographical errors.
