Extradition laws in Australia?

Hello, I am unclear of the extradition laws in Australia, and plan to move there with my sister soon from the US. She recently stole around $30,000 from a co-worker (long story) and needs to leave the country asap. Will the USA extradite her from Australia over $30,000? Suggestions? Thank you.
