Paris Hilton does get out of jail, what does this say about our criminal justice system?

unspecified 'medical' condition. apparently her house has better doctors than the jail.

What it was is a psychological condition (they didn't tell us this) she cried to the shrink who came everyday, and the high priced hollywood shrink, makes up some stress syndrome and gets her out. As if everyone else in there was enjoying it and wasn't a spoiled brat. Ridiculous?

When O.J. got off for murder, it spoke volumes about the wealthy elite escaping justice, for Hilton to escape a month in jail for drunk driving, no big deal to me, I have come to expect the wealty can get around the system

It says that our criminal justice system is criminal. It says that the blindfolded lady on the justice scale is blindfolded for a reason. It says that if your 'special' (deemed so by societies standards of elitism) that there is a different set of justice scales - ones that are heavily weighted in your favor.

Because shes a rich little spoiled brat...I guarantee that the jail wouldn't cut down the jail time from an original 45 days down to five. No way in hell...But for little miss Hilton who has so much money she has no scenes and dosent know what to do with it, that can make a few 'bends' to the rules. It plain shows that money really is everything to some ppl. and that our justice system is twisted and unfair to an extreme extent.
If you have enough money you can do anything...and get away with it.
It says that if you've got money, you can get out of anything. Its all about money. Unfortunatly, our justice system is on the top of the list. Look at O.J. Simpson. Its really a shame that these people can do just about anything and walk away with a smug look on their face or admit themselves to some rehab and its all forgotten. Its all about money!
