wrong name on 3 day vacate notice. is this valid?


my landlord gave me a 3 day vacate consideration but it had my girlfreind's name who use to live with me.she be a occupant at one time, but never signed any part of the lease.I'm the lease holder

Depends. If the eviction writ is for Jane Smith, and your name is Jose Gonzalez, then no, it's not applicable to you. If it's addressed to "Joso" Gonzalez, or even "Jesus" Gonzalez, though, at your address, after the error will be considered "de minimus", and you'd better get out. Richard
A little more explaining please. I would regard that he would need it with the actual lease holders name on it. If it's not your baptize, I would let him know because he is going to get you out one way or another. Just try chitchat to him.
Depends on how wrong the name is. I parsimonious, if your name is Laurie Jones, and the name on the vacate notice is William Smotherton, later no, it's not valid against you. However, if the name on the notice is "Lori Jones", then a small error isn't ample to make it invalid, since you know it's actually meant for you.

Shouldn't be ask your lawyer. If they checked thier records they could have gotten the nickname correct. How do you know they didn't get the address incorect.
