What's the best way to start being poor?
Like not necessarily because you have to but if you had to. What are some really 'smart' poor things people do? How do they generalize this in justification terms and how do they cope?

get arrested and a felony record first, this will ensure a lack of job opportunity later on. Then either get knocked up, or knock someone up. This will ensure a burden with child support or child care costs. Then pick up a minor drug habit, lose your house and start hanging around with homeless people. Youre almost there!

They look for work, any kind of work...It`s a start.Even if it does not pay much, the bottom is not bad when you know you have a chance of going up in the world...

Compact the trash so you don't use as many plastic bags. Refill water bottles. Eat at home. Mow your own lawn, you save money and get good exercise. Play board games with the family. You have fun and learn to communicate again. There are thousands of ways to learn to save money. Most of them learned by people who have lots of it.
They prioritize where their money is spent. Sometimes that means feeding the kids fresh fruit over smoking cigarettes, or electricity over having cable.
start as a teen having babies out of wedlock and lack of education. also blame everyone else for your plight.
being a drug addict helps.
the only answer is 'they must be open minded person'

Get married, have kids, quit your job or get them to lay you off, apply for welfare, food stamps, medicaid, and WIC, then people on here will complain you have too much while your kids do without some of the basic necessities of life like dental care.
being born in a poor family that can't or won't help each other and be sexually molested by the only men you ever meet except maybe one that you only get to visit with about 3 times so that you can't see what a decent person is like, then your confidence is so low that you don't realize that you deserve better than to be mistreated and the mistreatment goes on for too many years to ever grow you into getting out of the poverty and then you are too old to start also add starving all your life and not building a healthy body to be strong enough to work.and there being rich people in the world that don't give a sh*t
The best thing would probably go to a soup kitchen, I mean I'm not entirely sure because I'm not poor but some homeless people who 'live' by Petco can get a glimpse of the game.
