Why does it take Judges/Courts so much time to make decision over matters etc years!?
Im not one of these people but i wonder why does it take so much time???? is it so people can forget what they done & catch them out?...lol this confuses me.
How eles can you explain the fees that they want to charge you????
The government's version of the speedy trial to a public judge and a cadre of back slapping attorneys.
Answer:
First, before the trial even happens, both parties have to prepare their briefs, and the court has to study the matter, that takes time...
Then, if you remember that Americans have lawsuit mania, and that in most countries, the judiciary is a relatively low priority budget item, so the court system is critically lacking in personnel (judges, court clerks and whatnot) to handle the ever increasing case load, you will understand that even after the necessary delays needed to prepare the case for court, it still takes incredibly long to find a window of unused court time to actually hear the case.
Judges would like you to believe they are very important busy people. They also want to give you the impression they are really giving your case careful consideration. The truth is they have little respect for the lowlings who come before them, even contemt. They could do it right away.
Legal research and writing opinions takes time, especially on sensitive issues (e.g. abortion). I take it you are referring to the Supreme Court??
