I think i might be expelled from university what should i do?

I sent a threat in an email 2 this guy & he reported me 2 management( he sent me an email containing nude pictures) they blocked my student account.i can not do any school work! i did'nt mean what i sent him, i was just joking now i'm in trouble.I am going 2 be sent to a disciplinary hearing & i could be expelled! i'm scared i've been crying the whole time! they say i violaited University policy.I sent this guy an amputed leg in thet email ,the person i was asked 2 go to printed the email & showed it to me.I was not aware of the rules . what am i going 2 do? i need help. I went through so much to get to university i can not lose that chance now. help

Any school has the absolute right to set their rules/ standards.. thus it would not be illegal for them to have a rule that women must wear dresses (for example), and if you violate that, they can take action. Nothing illegal in that.
What I find completely mind blowing is that by the time someone is old enough to be in college or university, that they have not learned a basic lesson of life -
'I was not aware of the rules' and/or 'but I was just joking' are not acceptable excuses for bad behavior. Nor is 'but they did it first'.
You probably WON'T believe this, but I am not hoping to hurt you. This is a major wake up call for you, about being responsible for your own conduct, in school or otherwise. There are times in life when bad choices are not undoable, or cannot be turned back.
For your own sake, I truly hope you are able to convince them that you have learned, what should have been learned before you ever got there. And I sincerely hope there will be some compassion for you.
