A bit hypocritical--don't you think?

The GOP seeking to bar one lone Democrat congressman over bribery and ethics charges/violations, but they couldn't do the same with their own--involving the Jack Abramoff scandal amongst other scandals--over the last 12 years?

William Jefferson (D-LA) is about as corrupt as they come. He needs jail time.

You do understand that the Jack Abramoff scandal involves just as many democrats. No not hypocritical. Duke Cunningham is in Jail for the same thing, when will democrats own up to their own corruption.
nah they deserved it

Politicians hypocritical!! NEVER! The fact is as long as these aristocrats are running the country they don't care about anything but their own agenda and their own wallets. I have yet to be impressed enough in any of the politicians who really try and get the peoples voices and the peoples choices heard and into law and action. It's time for the people to step up and take back the power we have bestowed on these 'public servants'. Apathy won't do it. The real question should be how can we root out the hypocrisy and as a people take the control of this country as the forefathers gave it to us?
Not really. It won't be the only time this has ever happened, on the left or the right.
Do you think he should just get away with it, to make things 'even'?
Doesn't what he's alleged to have done bother you at all?
Maybe. But are you saying the Democrat Congressman doesn't serve it? And aren't the Democrats hypocritical for always pursuing Republicans' scandals but rarely turning inward to look at the deficiencies of their own party? This is the nature of politics. If you're such a partisan hack that you can't see that your own party is hypocritical, then you're doomed forever to be a mindless party drone.
