Do you think there should be a vote of no confidence for this country?

If no leader is adaquite to run this country should'nt we have the ability to kick them out of office if they are not acting in the best intrest of the people. Do you think same should go for judges and members of congress? What are your thoughts?
yeah there should be note of no congidence, but the country shoild be democratic i suppose. and it happens everywhere, it is written in the constitution that there shoild be a vote og no confidence if yr situation occurs,

hope u inderstand
In a democracy, i believe that is the idea. But since we are not exactly the most purest form of democracy, we elect officials to do that for us (governers and senetors). But too bad they're just as corrupt as anyone else in congress.
I would say, yes, but there always seems to be some group of people who feels the president is acting in their interest. Thanks to bias news teams who preach in extremety and the brainless morons who listens to them. No matter how bad someone is doing, there's always a percentage of people who feel they are doing well.
As for Bush, with under 30% disapproval ratings, it's wonder how he keeps office. Even Fox news runs out of nice things to say about him. That's why they emphasize more on conservatism...to seperate their views with Bush (although it's similar).
There is no such thing as a vote of no confidence in America. American politicians are all elected for a fixed term of years. Only in parliamentary systems like England, where the prime minister serves at the pleasure of parliament, can a vote of no confidence be invoked.
We DO have that right, impeachment and recalls are in laws all across the country and in each city and state. The biggest problem is that most people are afraid to stand up against Big Brother, for fear of retaliation. There are plenty of bodies in the wakes of amBush (as with most other high-level politicians), and no one else wants to become a statistic or political prisoner like Ramos and Compean.
Yes - we should change to a Parliamentary System of Government.
There are times that I would love to have a Parliamentary system where an ineffective government can be removed from power and a new election held. However, our Constitution is based on separation of powers and is designed not to work. Since no one has sufficient constitutional authority to push through legislation, it is rather difficult to hold anyone responsible for the actions of other independent government officials.

To those who noted the power of voters in connection to recall and impeachment, the laws in each of the States are different (and none of them apply to federal officials). In my state, there is no ability to petition for impeachment or recall (though individual voters can petition for particular statutes or constitutional amendments).

Yes most definitely we need one.
