Forwarding of stimulus checks?
I have heard different stories on the forwarding of government checks.
Does the post department forward these checks or not?
Does anyone know for sure?
If you left a forwarding address with the PO, they will forward all post up to 6 months from leaving a previous address. However, sometimes it does take up to 2 weeks for a forward of a mail to materialize.
You can also track the check on the IRS website, assuming you check it during the time that your check would be cut based on your SS#. There is a link below.
