Can you work on california state disability?

I am not sure about California Law, but most states and provinces will allow you to earn a certain amount (here it is $150.00 per month) I believe. But you MUST report this income to them (BIG trouble, including being cut off and sued for the fraudelent amounts paid to you if you are found out) and any amount you may earn in any given month in exsess of the cap is deducted from our monthly entitlement.

If you are already on disability, simply ask your worker. They will not get mad, they will be happy that you are at least trying to do what you can.
Not legally, and if they catch you they will attempt to get back the benefits they have paid you.

If you have partial disability they will allow you to work in certain fields. It has to be pre-approved before hand though.
