Will Law & Order actor/politician Fred Dalton Thompson decide to run for the US presidency?

or will he stay with L&O , or both if possible(probably not)?

I hope he runs! He has my vote if he does!! I am fairly sure he will have to leave L&O though. I have heard he really does not like campaigning, so hopefully he will jump in late this year to avoid most of this mess.

I think he'll run. He's been doing a lot of appearances and meetings lately plus his ABC Radio commentaries and blog. He won't be able to continue on L&O once he announces and there have been articles saying that the network won't be able to run repeats of episodes he's in due to equal air-time regs.
