Since when is it a "Scandal" when a politician "does business" a hooker? This is a regular occurrence.

Why is it a big deal now? If my mechanic was beside a hooker last night does that mean he will not repair my sports car correctly? If it were my real-estate agent does that mean my house will not sell? You procure my point. Why are Americans so prudish about sex? I'm NOT saying what he did was right, but where on earth people stick their private parts is NO ONE'S BUSINESS BUT THEIR SPOUSE'S! Why can't people understand privacy and mind their own business?? This holier-than-thou attitude and invasion into the privacy of others will be the demise of our great country, not sex or fornication.
I agree, but if you're talking roughly who I think you're talking about I would hold it against him that he campaign against these same prostitutes and he was married. Hookers and Mistresses can exercise a great influence over the men they secretly sleep with. Would you trust the Nations affairs contained by the hands of someone who can control a situation by sheer Blackmail and getting access to official documents etc ?. If the Politician took the women after divorcing his partner ,I would not care. He should show some guts if he really chooses to play the love spectator sport.
The simple answer is that prostitution is illegal. Someone contained by a position like governor (and formerly state attorney general) will certainly be held to a higher standard than your mechanic when it comes to following law.

Your mechanic would get arrested, too, though, if he was caught.
because he was married..and he got caught..it shows america what kind of personage you are..if u are able to cheat and not be faithful to your wife how can we trust you as a governer to be honest and faithful to us and govern us correctly and contained by the right direction if we cant trust you, its a break of trust..it may not be a new thing that governors cheat but if your caught thats another story
