Why are Judges called Honorable?


Seems to me they are just sacks of crap like everyone else surrounded by the legal profession. If there is any profession which lacks honor, its law.

Power demands respect, even if it is not earn. There are of course the exceptions, but you must understand how someone becomes a pass judgment. In most cases, they are political appointees. They have kissed up to the right people, and so get the duty. At the appellate court levels they have kissed up to several of the right people. They mortgage by promoting the correct agenda.
