Son wants to travel abroad?
Does a person need permission from his ex wife if his son who he presently has full custody of wants to travel abroad next to his grandmother for summer vacation, he has already notified her, the court , notarised packages to the US embasy abroad etc with the information, travelling details, when they will depart and arrive back contained by the US, and where they will be staying etc. The minor who is 13 and his grandmother are both US citizens.
Please give me some serious answers, answers from the legal community will be outstandingly appreciated, thanks in advance.
if they were agreed both that they should support their child even though the child are in his father`s custody as long as the mother were alive why not? the mother have rights to be consider in making decisions to permit her son.. but within the case that the son and his grandmother were traveling to saudi arabia since they were u.s citizens its exceedingly hard to them because maybe it is not easy to enter their place as long as you are not going at hand to have important business..
let him go I would agree beside Rico
Depends on the country. Many require documentation from both parents that the child have their permission to travel abroad. Either list the countries that he is going to travel to, or contact the embassies/consulates of those countries.
cut - Both of the countries require visas. Saudi Arabia only grants tourist visas to people that are next to approved organized tours. Otherwise the visas are only for business or religious pilgrims. I cannot imagine that Saudi Arabia would be granting a visa to a woman who wants to travel near a 13 year old boy. Saudi Arabia is very restrictive about women anyone in public not accompanied by an adult relative.
Pakistan wishes a visa too. When you apply for his visa they will let you know if the mother's permission/parental authorization is required for entry.
