Where do I find law case about child abuse win or lost ?PLEASE HELP?
I am looking to see cases on child abuse in California how do I find them and where ? I want to see how they won or lost. PLEASE HELP
You can't find these cases. They are one of a few types of cases (others being adoption and guardianship) that are 'sequestered'--which means closed to the public. The pleadings are not public records unless they are criminal and even then some of the information is hidden. I represent children. Maybe if you asked a more direct question, I could help. You could try californiafindlaw.com and search for abuse cases in the criminal context, but they will not give you trial tactics. You need an attorney's advice. If you know about a CRIMINAL abuse trial, you can observe that in my state in person. That's the only method I can think of to learn about tactics except talking to a criminal defense attorney or a family law attorney--depending upon the context of your case.
There's a website called Westlaw. You might have to pay to join. You can try to google with the words child abuse, won, and California, also.
