Wallet found - return or keep? Was this guy robbed or trespassing?
Found a wallet with no money in it just a drivers license and pics, what are your thoughts on returning it? Was this guy trespassing as I know people have been coming aboard or alternatively was he the victim of a crime and his property was dumped there. So police lost & found or return to his home address - I have no intention of hanging onto this item either way. T.I.A
Give it to the police, along with the place where it was located. If there was a crime, it might help them locate the suspect.

Since you don't know what the situation is and you clearly do not want to get involved it would be less hassle to just mail it to him. No questions asked and you would not have to file any report or anything.
robbers often dump wallets after taking cash and cards so i would take it to a police station
