Whats the age to leave home without consent in all 50 US states give me a list?
i live in mississippi and i dont know if i can go at 18 or 21 cause my friends say 18 but not sure and some people like 2 percent of people say 21
It's 18 without consent in all states. It is 16 with consent in some states.
I'm almost certain that at 18 you're an adult. I know in some states even if you are 18 if you still live or are supported financialy primarily by your parents you're considered a dependent an have eseentialy the same legal status as a underage person in regards to what your gaurdians can allow you to do.
Answers:
18 unless you are declared mentally incompetent by the courts, meaning you have a mental disability which makes you vulnerable, and your parents remain your gaurdians.
I may be wrong someone told 17 in Texas , I really don't either one, even though I'm from Mississippi, but I am employed in Texas.
Since 18 is the legal age to vote, you are allowed to leave without consent at 18. Any age younger than that, you would be considered a juvenile runaway without parents' consent. This is the law in all 50 states.
