okay my bf was arrested for shop lifting an eight dollar object and when he was caught he had ten xanas and ten caldompins in his pocket. he was within a 1000 feet of a school. he is 17yrs old and wont turn 18 for another 8 monthes what will probably happen?he has never been in trouble before and makes good grades and has a job. he passed a urine test. he was charged with 2 class d felenoies and 1 c felony HELP?????????

First of all he shouldn't have been shop liftting.If he didn't have a perscription for the pill he is in deep trouble.He might want to get a lawyer he might be able to plea it out.Do community service or something like that.He also might want to check into rehab

Well, hopefully, he will do some hard time to see what happens to people who break the law. My question is why whould you want to have such a loser as a bf?

UMMM i DON'T REALLY KNOW ! But if it helps you then maybe they will find him innocent if he says the truth and if he says something like he didn't want to( I don't have much experience on this subject, can u tell?) but hopefuly they won't do anything to him if he was good at school and everything. Hope he comes out of there !

Since the crime was really committed, admit the offense charged and use this as mitigating circumstance so that the penalty will be lowered. Then request for rehabilitation rather be imprisoned.

Hopefully they will throw away the key. But in reality, he will get off with little or nothing.
