Sweden and censorship?

Victor Rydberg was a famous Swedish author involved with numerous censorship cases, probably all on charges of ''blasphemy.'' He equated them with Sweden's past Witch Trials. Was he ever charged himself for Blasphemy or such like accusation?

Victor Rydberg, 1828-1895, was the most notable cultural person in Sweden for a period of about 20 years. He was a well-known poet and author and his grave is a national monument in Sweden to this day. He was a member of the Swedish parliament and a fierce opponent to capitalism. He did sit on a jury that convicted another Swedish author of blasphemy. He wrote in the 'romantic' style and was careful in his writings to avoid anything that could remotely be construed as blasphemous. In his works, 'bad' or immoral characters were always doomed to a disasterous end and the virtuous characters in his books and poems were always rewarded. He did not write blasphemous materials and refused to support those who did. He grew up in a very poor home and developed an over-compensating superiority complex. He didn't oppose free speech exactly, but he loved to attack rival authors by any means possible.
