Ca. Divorce And Am I Screwed?

Ok, married 3 years. Signed quit claim deed cause my bad credit. so she said. She was primary account holder on our bank accounts. She is Bookkeeper and Notary public. I lost 65k year job 4 months ago. our income dropped. she stressed. behind my back before served she: took her name off bank acc. and withdrew all funds, including my V.A. Funds, ran credit check without my permisson, took all financial papers out of safe to mothers, removed some valuables, cant be sure what yet. After served: She took my name off all our home, auto and life insurance policies. has removed and/or destroyed any and all photos related to us. changed locks on house and mailbox. took my key to our truck. Filed a restraining order. etc. Also she filed our joint return, but DID NOT include all her income. when i asked her, she said, Alimony for me, and smiled. unreported is approx 15k. Dad is paying for her lawyer. I have access to $0 cause she took control. $500k home, 2 cars, plasmas, Etc........HELP!!!!

You need to find yourself a ball-breaking, coniving ***** breaking lawyer -- She has defrauded you on so many levels and some of them may even be criminal. She has lied, stolen, and manipulated the truth -- and if she lied to the IRS she committed tax fraud, Contact your local bar association and they can help to put you in touch with some attorneys who may be willing to take you on at reduced cost -- particularly looked for one who was burned by a nasty exwife like yours lol

if you she has assets like the house etc, then go talk to a alimony lawyer first time is free, see what can be done, usually it is the women is in your place, but in general if assets the lawyer can make a motion to the court to force her to release some assets she has hidden to pay some what the legal cost, that will allow the lawyer to take a good look to see what assets are there then what you would be entitled to after divorce and make out a payment plan, many lawyers will take it if the house has equity because they can get paid after the force sell of the house

the good thing is you are in CA a community property state, state statute will be controlling authority any assets monies earned during the marriage is considered community property
