If you do not live together or are in business together , then you are considered the estranged wife.
Is his name on the condo as well? If so, any of his assets can be impounded or seized, it depends on the circumstances of the case and the specific charges against him. If he is co-owner of the condo, regardless of what happen this time, you need to fill out, notarize, and file near your County Recorder's Office a, "Quit Claim Deed" on the property so that only your name is on the title. This will protect your property from any of his future legally recognized problems. * A "Quit Claim Deed," is not an expensive or time consuming matter.
