Fat unhandicapped lazy neighbor?
I have a nieghbor who has somehow had the apartments put a handi-cap sign up contained by the parking spot that is convient for both of us. However he has no sticker or license plate and parks his car within?! I have three kiddos and parked there today (it's raining like hell today) to bring contained by my 3 sons (all under the age of 5) and groceries. I was parked there a total of 10 mins and he call the apartment manager on me and had them gripe me out. I wasn't planning on staying there, but how the hell can he own a say when he's not even freakin handicapped!!!??? What do I need to do about this situation?
they own the property.....private property. You probably cant do anything about it. the next time he parks there, telephone the cops and have him towed for parking in a handicapped spot with no handicapped flap.
The next time he's parked there, send for the cops. They can issue a ticket to him, I think, even though it's private property. At least it's worth a shot................ When he is parked in the spot bid the cops and report his car. Do not go into great detail with the cops a short time ago complain.
How do you know if he is handicapped or not? Have you reviewed his medical files?
Many handicaps requiring special parking are not visible.

Normally would articulate you won't melt in the rain, but frankly, contained by this case, I am not sure.
I get the feeling he's either morbidly obese or have a more subtle problem like chronic back pain or something.
Only your municipality can enjoy a handicap sign put somewhere and they only do that if you get some medical proof. He probably doesn't bother to put up his sticker or one of those "hang to your mirror" signs because he lives nearby.
You had to be parked there a lot longer than 10 minutes for him to own time to call the manager, then the inspector call the tow-truck and finally your car getting towed.
I'm afraid the only piece you can do is not to parked in a handicap zone...
phone in a tip to the police that non handicapped vehicles are parking in handicapped spots within your neighborhood. They should send someone to check out the allegations and it should result in a nice big fine for your neighbor if hes parked there.
And btw most buisnesses are located on private property. You CAN still be fined for parking within a clearly marked handicapped spot even on private property.
It's private property and the apartment management can assign him any space they want to. He convinced them he should have that one. It belongs to him. Get over it. There's hefty fines for parking surrounded by a handicapped for anyone who is not handicapped.
