Which GCSE'S do i need for law?
im in year 9 and choosing my options for yr 10 and i want to be a barrister when im older. but which subjects should i choose to be able to be one.
.Good ones, English Lang, English Lit, Maths, History, A Language French,Spanish, German, Double Science is fine or Physics, rest is up to you need to be A or B grades and a min of 8, 10 would be better
apparently you don't need any specific GCSE's. choose the subjects you enjoy rather than the one's you don't or else you will on regret it later on in life. after all you have to enjoy life right?
As long as you take maths and English the others should not matter. I guess politics, history and geography will be useful. I would ask the careers advice teacher at your school what they suggest.
The most important thing for law is to get high grades rather than particular subjects so make sure you chose GCSEs you will do well in and find fun.
I do not know but i want to wish you all the best .
Good Luck in your career x
Answer:
don't worry.
I'm going to study law.
i took, English, German, Maths, History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
and at collage English, maths, German, history
choose the subjects you enjoy.
just when you go to collage keep them academic and traditional. that what the top uni's want. (don't study law, oxford , Cambridge and kings don't like it)
all the required are, english, maths. trust me, do not tudy A level law at college because uni's prefer students who dont, they say its because the A'level law is so different to the one you study at uni. you can choose any subjects you want as the subjects you choose don't affect you till college. college is when you should pick specifics. just make sure you ge 5 C's or above in english, maths n any other subjects. in college instead of studying A'level law, you should go for, sociology, physcology, and english.
