is there a law that protects me if someone i know stold my cellphone and ran up my bill?
someone at school stold my cell. he ran up my bill badly, is at hand a law that protects me incase he doesn't want to pay me back. over $200. i enjoy prove of all the international calls and downloads he made. what should i do.

I would take him to court and own him arrested for stealing!!!!

stold? really? its "stole" im fucking high and i even know that. u say aloud this happened at school? i dont believe u. talk to ur phone service provider and report ur phone missing. speak the calls he made werent urs. and u could probably get him arrested.. but i say u merely jump him and get it back. not a soul likes a rat.
It stole your phone. That's enough to have him arrested and prosecuted. But, unless he has a long history of trouble beside the law, he probably will just get a slap on the wrist. You might be capable of get him to pay restitution for the bill he ran up. Another leeway is that when your phone gets stolen, CALL THE PHONE COMPANY AND REPORT IT! They can, and will, suspend your phone service so no one can use the phone. They might even be able to abet you track down who has it.
