Order to Arrest?
I just received notice that an Order to Arrest has be issued by a District Court here in New Hampshire for my failure to appear on a collection matter. Can they come to my house and arrest me? I lately got home it is after 5 on a Friday and I cannot reach anyone. I'm terrified the Sheriff's Department will show up at door. HELP! Thank you!

yes they can arrest you at any time and any place. Whether they expend that effort demands on hundreds of variables. If you make it through the weekend, go to the court that issued the direct on Monday. Not to the cops, to the court. In all likelihood, the clerk will arrange for you to see the judge who will quash the warrant and endow with you a new date. If you surrender to the cops, instead of the court, it might take the cops a few days to get you into the court.
