Growing Pot!?
I've just been told that it is legal to grow pot surrounded by California, on the Federal level. Is this true? What about on the State level?
I did not hear this, and I other listen to the news. Does anybody out there know what's what?

Only if you have a license to grow. Yes there is such a thing, you would own to become a medical supplies (which is really hard to do) Federal trumps state law ..so don't do it
It is legal on STATE stratum with a proper license, however federal law still considers pot an illegal substance thus even though you are not braking any state law the DEA can still charge you with possession of a controlled substance and trial you in federal court. Personally it is better to brake a state law than a federal ruling, because the California might have one opinion on drugs, but the ultimate word comes down from the U.S. Supreme Court , and they trump any ruling that California or any other state may of passed.
