Effect on judgment lien on my house?

I was involved in a car accident and at fault. The plaintiff is suing me and her claims are far over my policy limit. Obviously i do not have enough cash to pay her. I pay mortgages to the house that I am living. If I lose the lawsuit, will she put a lien on my house? Is it common that she will force me to sell it to pay her?

If she really puts a lien on my house, what's the effect of the lien? Will it be difficult for me to sell the house later even i pay the debt?

She will probably put a lien on your house. It is unlikely that she can force you to sell it. But if you sell or refinance, the lien will have to be paid. Once the lien is paid and removed it will not effect your house.
