I called an ambulance for my son awhile back, and I get a bill for over $700.00 (details inside)?

The envelope said to the parents/guardians of his name. I honestly cant afford it. will it ruin his credit? Also the hospital didn't do anything The thing is it didn't say my term it just said to the parents/guardians of Brandon D'angelo

Ambulance rides are expensive. They arent free. It wont hurt his credit it will hurt YOUR credit. The bill will just acquire bigger with late fees if you dont pay it. Call the hospital and work out reward plans.
If he is a minor it will probably ruin your credit, the bill appears to be in your name. I have to take an ambulance ride not long ago and my bill was a little over $700 and that be after my insurance paid their part, but the total bill was over $3,000.00 simply because I be having a severe allergic reaction and they had to pump plentifully of medication into me on the ride over. I just made a payment plan with them, I agreed to recompense two payments of $350 plus some change but when I was setting it up she said what can you afford, so I could have probably made payments on it as long as I needed, at lowest try it before you give up.
If your child is a minor, you are responsible for the bill. Your insurance should pay for it. If you don't have insurance, the state, county or public robustness dept. should pick up the bill but you need to call whoever normally take care of your bills to find out. Assuming he is a minor, your child has no credit history to harm. If your child is not a minor, he is responsible for the bill. The same info applies for payoff - his insurance, etc. should pay for it. If he was injured in a coup¨¦ accident and that is what lead to his human being brought to the hospital, your car insurance may pay for it too. If your child is not a minor and does not pay for any bill he owes, it can affect his credit. If to be precise the case, you or your son can make payments over time. Call the ambulance company and ask about it. The reality that the hospital did nothing does not mean that you don't owe the ambulance for its work.

Submit the bill to your insurance company. And retribution the balance.
