If i have a pending criminal charge against me after 2 years is it to late to request for a speedy trial?

answer nicely please
I don't think so. Push your attorney to get a court date NOW. Contact the local bar. Contact the ACLU.
no you are entitled to a spedy trial
Depending on the crime, and where it is in the process, SOME cases, having not been charged or tried in that long, without continued extensions can be dropped.

Check with an attorney. It is POSSIBLE they have violated your right to a speedy trial.
Speedy trial is determined from the time charges are filed. If the charges were filed two years ago, you're too lat. If they were filed within the last 30 days, and you have not asked for an extension, your in time.

Answer:
You are entitled to a speedy trial, its your right. But if your attorney is hesitent then he/she most likely isnt ready to defend you(im not like saying he/she isnt good im just saying sometimes you have to spend some time in order to make or defend a case...)
also your case MIGHT be thrown out/ dismiss and you can get off but thats rare but possible. Talk to your defence attorney...
