What age does a child have to be to have a say in which parent they live with. (Australia)?

Please let me know where and how to find this info
12
there are exceptions to every rule, including the age of having power in how or where you live.
If it's before the family court, the judge will consider the child's wishes whatever their age is.

If it's not before the court, I'm not sure. Sorry.
I don't know man..I need points

Answer:
Probably 18, try to get along with whichever parent you live with, they have your best interest at heart although it may not seem that way, they will be there for you through thick and thin, so give them a break they aren't perfect but they would give you the world and you should remember that. Good luck , we have all been there and you can make your stay more comfortable.
They have to be 12 yrs old I know this because my sister is going through the process now.
