ATTN LAWYERS! DO I really need a lawyer?!?

I recieved a reckless driving ticket in Va for 89 in a 65. I only have one other speeding ticket on my record. I am an EMT and could possibly lose my job depending on what the judge decides. I have talked to a couple of lawyers about this and they have told me I need their help. I need an unbiased opinion... PLEASE HELP!

It is not worth losing your job and having a criminal record, to try and save a couple thousand dollars. Get a lawyer.

I am a lawyer. You are charged with an offense which could result in loss of your license and loss of your job. You need a lawyer.
i think you prolly do but you may not have much recourse, what was teh other ticket for? wreckless driving as well? if it was this will display a pattern, 24 over the speedlimit is rough, means ya could have been going even faster if ya saw the cop and tried to brake, which is what tye are gonna think too
Oh yes, you need a lawyer. In Va, you are facing suspension of license for possibly one month or more. You will also have to attend those brainless DMV safe driver classes. In any case, the attorney will work to have it dropped down to speeding and work to get you to keep your license. You will still probably have to go to a safe driving BS course. If you don't have an attorney, you could be in for real trouble.
