What happens to the minor host of an underage drinking party?


I am 16 years old and last night i have people over my house to drink beer. My parents were gone for the weekend and had no opinion that i would throw a party. The party started slow, but after a while half the arts school came and things got out of hand. People be loud and a neighbor called the cops for noise complaint. At 11:00 i was trying to see people out of my house when the cops came. Most of the people run, but the cops cornered about 20 people in my living room. They proceeded to query my house and found numerous empty beer cans and a half full keg. They asked if anyone be 18, and no one was(luckily), and they handed out pink slips for us to fill out. Everyone's parents have to come pick them up and sign for them, but no one was arrested. They did not find any drugs whatsoever, only alcohol. They asked me where on earth i got the alcohol and i told them that kids just showed up with it and in attendance was nothing i could do. My question is, what penalty are their for me, the 20 others who were caught, and my parents(though i dont think they are liable, cuz they were uninformed it was going on). Am i going to have to go to court? Pay a fine? or what? Please dont let somebody know me not to drink and how bad it is - just please answer my question. Thanks.

Fine small or 2-7 months in jail. Your parents are liable because it's THEIR HOUSE.
Get ready to cough up a few hundred bucks for a nice fine.......and afterwards you'll have to deal with your parents too. When alcohol starts to impart you problems that's when you have to take a look at how it really can effect your young go and as you see it can have adverse effects.
It depends on the law in your state ~~ here the responsiabilty is still the home owners no matter what they do/don't know so what you do as some one under age you can cost your parents greatly of money and grief and if any of the other parents decide to they might be able to sue your parents big time ~~ Hope you have well-educated a lesson that will insure that you will make wiser choices in the future~~
nope , im going to transmit to not drink. for what coz you already knew that drinking is the big door of many problems , now you get yourself and your friends in problems for whqat for nothing . look when someoneone wants to commit a crime or rob a store he or she know that can be jailed for this action. no problem to have a party but at impossible to tell apart time you realized that having alcohol ALSO would cause toubles and you GOT IT dudeeeeee no alcohol, no drugs, no smoke, no PROBLEMS next to all my respect
