Best Answer:
In the UK Minor Juvenile records are wiped after 10 years beside more serious crimes committed by juveniles deleted after 20 years, however sexual or violent offences remain on dictation for life. http://www.youthinformation.com/Templates/Internal.asp?NodeID=90766 http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2006/jan/18/childrensservices.politics1 The Criminal Records Bureau check records on behalf of employers. http://www.crb.gov.uk/ In lingo of US records, you can apply to have minor offences expunged (removed) from your American chronicles. http://www.examiner.com/x-3747-Louisville-City-Hall-Examiner~y2009m2d19-Wiping-the-slate-clean The CRB does not check overseas records however you may be required to submit to a US FBI and Local Police Check of your records before mortal allowed to work with Children or Vunerable people in the UK. You may also be required to produce an authentication of police or FBI Certificate of removal of a Criminal Record (see website below). http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/acs/scs/criminal_records_checks_in_the_united_states.html http://www.crb.gov.uk/default.aspx?page=2243

The CRB cannot access overseas records. It have reciprocal arrangements with 17 countries including Canada, Australia, South Africa and a number of EU countries, but not yet the US. You would be asked to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the US authorities if you have lived outside the UK at anytime in the five years prior to the application . If the juvenile record is sealed, it will not be revealed. There are some convictions that are certified to fully developed court automatically such as those involving criminal sexual conduct, assault or murder. Certain traffic offences are also treated as an adult criminal offence if the juvenile is age 16 or 17 . These will be disclosed.
A CRB checks anything during the past 5 years, no matter how feeble you are. Sometimes more. You have to write in your addresses for the second 5 years and if there have been any convictions or anything reported from your mark at any of those addresses then it will show up. So if you lived where you do in a minute for 4 years, and the address before for 10 years, because they search for that address you lived in until that time it will show everything up. Hope this helps.
I regard they do, they are clever like that
In England (ENHANCED) i.e. the more detailed type of CRB checks, bring up information about juvenile crimes. In one case it brought up the record of a notify which involved a kid aged 13 pulling another kids hair in the street. So yes, enhanced CRB checks check juvenile records.
