In which countries of the world is smoking banned in public places?

Might have to specify what constitutes a public place?
I don't know about which countries but I live in Kingman, Az and it is banned here. Your not allowed to smoke in public places and it is also illegal to smoke in your car if you are driving with a passenger. I hope that helps you some
Scotland
Ireland
Its banned here in Wales since April of this year. I love it.
Spain although the law says you can smoke in an area under a certain size if the owners consent. most restaraunts you cant but then again some have smoking areas
start with the USA - nobody smokes in public there anymore!
Then quite a few countries in Europe... not all. Ireland, Scotland, Poland...
There are limited places to smoke in Germany (it doesn't help much).
You can smoke freely in Greece and Turkey. Ugh!
I am a Mexican citizen, and I live in Mexico City, and in my town, they passed a law protecting the non, smokers, which prohibits smoking in public buildings.

A list of countries is available in the link below.
Definitely Republic of Ireland, and definitely France, although the enforcement of the ban in each country couldn't be any different! In Ireland, no smoking in public places means just that. In France, no one could care less and everywhere is still packed with people smoking - hilarious!
