Is mace or pepper spray illegal in Canda or BC?
I want to purchase a can of pepper spray or mace for my girlfriend, for self-defence when I am not with her, isit illegal in BC? and where can get it from?
It is illegal here, only police can have it. You can get it off the net, I watch a report on how many women get it from the states, it was amazing the amount of women who do that. I doubt that you will be able to find it anywhere here in Canada, it is a shame, we should be able to use it in self defence. It might make a couple of guys think before acting.

i thought they used it for defense against bears? did you try going to a camping or hunting store and see if they have them for bear protection?
