2nd part to my question? I need a better answer. Let me be specific.. Back in 2004 I was arrested and facing.?
alot of time for something my daughter father did and they had placed my daughter in foster care for 1 year but at the same time my grandma had visistation rights and would see her twice a week and began the process of becoming a foster parent in order to get her back and once that was accomplished the adoption process began so me and the father signed over our rights so that my grandma could adopt her because honestly I was scared of losing her in the system so we had no choice but to surrender our rights. When all I got was 3 years in florida state prison I completed my time and now I'm home and I've been reunited with my daughter and my grandma is willing to give her back. I have a great relationship with her and of course my whole family who have been very supportive so what I need to know is A LAWYWER THAT IS AFFORDABLE THAT CAN HELP ME GET MY DAUGHTER BACK? My family is behind me %100 willing and ready for my daughter to come home with me..
Answers:
Contact the State Bar and see if they have a program that refers you to low cost family legal assistance and call Legal Aid where you live they may be able to refer you to the right attorney.
Contact the American Bar Association. They can help you find a lawyer in your area. Im not so sure about the affordable but you might be able to find one that will let you do a payment plan. There is alot of work involved and lawyers have expenses too.
