The anti-smoking inspectors have been insisting that Christian Churches must put up NO-SMOKING signs.Correct?

Does anyone know if they are applying the same zeal to Synagogues and Mosques? What about prisons? Should these victims of society be forced to inhale carcinogenic tobacco smoke as well as do time?
everyone knows the onnly place you can still smoke indoors is vegas and thats the way it needs to stay!
Like the sign says

Eternity Smoking or Non-Smoking. Your choice.
God
If the signs have to put up in church's then it should go up everywhere.Personally I think it is stupid.I smoke I do not go
to church however if I had to go in one I would not smoke. The zealots have gone stark raving bonkers.
Most folks have the respect enuff NOT to smoke at any church
Of course the Christians will be singled out, why because we do everything to pick on our own, but heaven forbid we should pick on any other religion, this would upset them, so accept the fact 'kick our own but no one else' its the way of the UK.
If kids are not breathing the stuff in, I just don't care. If a person is a Good Christian, they should not be smoking and destroying the body God made for them.
I guess its time to quit
England
The smoking ban layman's terms.
You can smoke outside (open air) and in your own home.

Any form of an enclosed space 'no chance'.

Several weeks ago I brought it to the attention of someone complaining about not being able to smoke.
I mentioned if you were self employed and smoked and you have a colleague who also smokes (2 man operation) you cannot smoke within the work's vehicle.
In other words you have to pull up into a layby before you can lite up.
That is how strict the regulations are.
You are not allowed to smoke.FULL STOP.

They thought I was joking I even got a thumbs down.
I am an atheist and I say the more no smoking bans and notices the better, I don't even want Christians Muslims or anyone else to get lung cancer.
yes, do what your told
Didn't know anyone was EVER allowed to smoke in church! Jail...prison? I think 'being forced' to inhale cigarette smoke is really one of the least of the prisoners worries. But I do believe they banned most smoking there, too.
Regardless of the anti / pro arguments the law is pretty clear, if its a public building they have to put up the signs. I really think it is a shame that row upon row of shops, offices , yes and places or worship, etc etc are all going to be disfigured by this rash of signs, 210mm x 148mm, at the main entrance and smaller ones elsewhere.
As for prisons, they may take advantage of some limited exemptions the same as care homes and hospices. In a prison designated 'bedrooms' aka cells, or day rooms can be provided but only for use by over 18yr olds, so no smoking for juvenile or youth offenders !, the day room can not have a dual use for TV or libraries, its strictly to be reserved for smoking only. All rooms/ bedrooms where smoking is permitted have to be totally enclosed with a solid wall, except for the door and windows, this also poses some problems for prisons because most of the 'bedrooms' , those I've seen ( only on the tele ! ) have at least one wall with bars.

Answers:
In California it already is a no-smoking area. Dont know about other religions, but our church doesnt allow smoking. There isnt time to smoke anyhow-we're too busy singing and enjoying the sermon.
