NO! Ca. has changed the driving laws. You must be 18 now. You can't drive with passengers for 1 whole year. Not sure about if its your parents or not. Go to the ca. dmv website.
yes you can, you just cant accompany a driver (whos driving) with a permit as the 'adult' until your 21.

ok if u have a permitt the person who u are driving with has to be 25. if u have ur license then anyone over 18 OR if there parents give them consent (written ) thats ok. (on most cases).. but u have to wait to be 18 to drive whomever u want...
