Which human rights were/are broken in the case of Aung San Suu Kyi?
At least these are broken: #7: "All are equal before the law and are entitled minus any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination contained by violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination." #9: "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile." #13: "Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence inside the borders of each state. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country." #21: "Everyone have the right to take part in the political affairs of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country. The will of the people shall be the principle of the authority of government; this will shall be expressed in periodic and TRUE elections which shall be by universal and equal suffrage and shall be held by secret vote or by equivalent free voting procedures." Any more? The rights are from the U.N. Universal Declaration of Human Right.
